SLA Technology

We at Craftial curve (CC-India), do SLA based prototyping with in-house SLA printers. SLA provides precision in microns, and finished products are very detailed. The process involve:

Custom designing - Customer provides design concept or models in open file formats like STL. Models are pre-processed in software and inspected for flaws.
Pre-production test - Models are analyzed for production feasibility, some samples are made.
Production - Models are printed.

Lead time : SLA turnaround time may vary from 7-15 days, depends on the level of detail & inputs provided to design team..

Silicone mold making

We make silicone molds using industry standards, Different techniques are used, as required to create specific type of silicone mold.

Silicone molds are categorized based on below criteria :

Hardness - Hardness in shores, we use medium hardness ranges from 20-30 shores, for molds upto 15 cm in height. Hardness can be changed, as per client requirement.
Intricacy - Molds with higher level of details require special treatments like high pressure casting, at Craftial curve (CC-India), we analyze and decide which mold needs pressure treatment.
Size - Molds with higher size then 15 cm, require support structure, although at Craftial curve (CC-India), we generally do not make large molds, but it can also depend on customer requirement and feasibility of mold.

Use cases

SLA products are often starting from 1 cm in height to 5-6 cm, These also includes flat engraved designs, which may vary from 2x2cm area up to 12x20cm area, typical day to day examples:

Bas-relief art
High resolution art work, figurines
Customized art work

These are high resolution and high definition molds, such molds can be used for decorative purposes, suitable material would be resin, fine cement, gypsum, resin based cements etc.
